BNP Paribas Wealth Management has consolidated its investment advisory and discretionary portfolio management teams under a new leadership structure in Asia, aiming to deliver a more unified and client-centric approach across the region.

The report, which surveyed 360 family offices worldwide—including 76 from APAC—found that 65% of APAC families have formal succession plans, significantly higher than the global average (54%).

The transaction is expected to be wrapped up during the first half of 2026.

The island's wealth management market is still dominated by home-grown banks such as CTBC Bank and Mega International Commercial Bank, while HSBC, UBS and BNP Paribas also have local teams.
