
Swiss private bank UBP posts a 40% jump in first-half profit as investor trading surges
A buoyant stock market and the successful integration of newly bought banking units propelled the wealth manager to double-digit growth.

Union Bancaire Privée saw its first-half net profit increase by 40% to CHF 169.4 million ($209 million) from a year ago, as strong market momentum and recent acquisitions helped the Swiss private bank expand its wealth business.
